Can't seem to change Explorer font colors in Vista

Hello, i'm new to this so forgive the newbie question, but i've managed to finish a skin, looks good, and everything seemed fine until i opened windows explorer, the background image was waht i wanted, but the fonts had stayed black, making them nearly impossible to read, now i'm not sure how to fix this as i've spent the better part of 3 hours trying before realizing i could ask for help here >.>

Umm i'm sorry but i don't see a text tab, but i'm looking in the Edit Explorer Background Bitmaps page, and after putting in my backgroun i can't see my icon text in explorer, that's my whole problem. i'm sorting through other windows now to see if i missed something else that will change the text for icons/files in the explorer window... ok i can set it with windows normal appearance editor just fine and import it, but then after a while something overrides it, and clears it back to black text.
