A Simple Solution

How to make everyone happy

From what I've read of the story, the light and dark seperation has no lore to back it up. Also my two favorite characters are on different sides. after speaking with a lot of people and hearing a lot of yeses i figured I'd post this here.

Instead of light vs. dark each dimigod would be their own faction and so there would be eight competitors. You wouldn't be locked into one guy though, and favor points go to whomever you are playing as. Because many demigods are used more than others there would be a handicap system, multiplying favor points gained at the ned of each round based on how many people are playing that demigod at the time.

This would make it so there are no demi-god restrictions, fit the plot better, and make a much fairer pantheon system.

this would take away from the team aspect of pantheon. people will only want to get as many kills as they can, and kill steal whenever possible, instead of helping push and other aspects of team games. i think pantheon is fine the way it is, it will be better once they fix the stats

I think it is a decent idea. There are a bunch of pros and cons to consider though.

I don't understand this part.

Oh I see... because you get favor points even when you lose.

Otherwise who cares how many people play a specific demigod. If they aren't winning, they wouldnt be getting points. But yeah. I can see the issue.

I think Light and Dark is a nice thematic they should keep pushing. My only request would be to find out if the standing rumor is true; that is, if since there's 8 maps and 8 demigods, each Demigod has its "Home turf", and which map is which Demigod. But I'm a sucker for these lore bits.

My only issue with the way it is is that my two favorite guys are on different sides and I think it is strange that you should be stuck into one side without the ability to play as multiple characters you might like

Quick question: are the Demigods on the same teams every Pantheon tournament?  Or do their Light/Dark allegiances get reshuffled from time to time?

The latter would reinforce the "arbitrary blood sport" nature of what lore does exist . . .

nope, the teams never change. If you read the lore, you can see that there light and dark demigods (even if TB is not dark, he is just crazy). There is no real reason in the lore to oppose light vs darkness, but it makes fun matchs and forces the players to play all the demigods, not just the one that everyone thinks is a little op at the moment.
