Surviving health stacking teams?

Surviving health stacking teams?

I'm completely stumped on this. As of a few days ago I started to run into entire teams stacking health and health regen. I have yet to win against one such group. I get *how* they attain the health, but I do not understand how to deal with it.

In such games I typically only die 0-3 times, so I do not think I am feeding them. (Most deaths were trying to save an ally or they catch me in a 3way). I notice their damage output is low, but they seem to be almost unharassable since the regen anything I put out, especially when HoL comes into play.

A huge problem I notice is that one or both of my teammates tend to feed them via direct confrontation and then try to escape at 150hp. Usually by the end of the game they get something like ~9 deaths a piece.

I've tried going full snare with various demigods, which works limitedly, sadly when one of them (usually a Regulu or Unclean Beast) constantly teleports into a nearby tower or the flag we're fighting over and then finishes us all off. So even if we kill one, two of us usually die in the process.

Thought about using minions to constantly wear at them, but since health stacking players are usually intelligent, they just aoe them down via ooze, batswarm, mass charm, etc.

My other thought was since their damage output is low, you just avoid direct contact till you can burst them down in one go. If they are not fed they can't get artifact gear, so maybe damage would outscale the health? But this is nigh impossible within random groups.

Perhaps its a composition thing? Maybe a sedna would help a regulus or tb harass them from afar? I don't even know. Anybody got some advice?

I think there are a lot of good points here, and if the question is whether stacking health is too good, I would probably answer yes.  However, I definitely don't think that stacking health is always the best choice, and because of my playstyle, I don't stack health on most characters.

The important thing to understand is that +health is only good if you're being attacked.  If you're not being attacked, then it does absolutely nothing.  This is important to understand because it may be that you're playing a character who almost never gets attacked.  Let's imagine, for example, that you are playing torchbearer, and you like to swarm enemies with your allies or stay in back and attack at a safe range.  In these situations, having bonus health isn't going to benefit you at all, and if you spend ninety percent of the game in these situations, then you may not want to stack health.

I also think that if there is a change, it should be that health items are nerfed, instead of damage items being improved.  If damage items become so powerful that a group can do huge amounts of damage to you quickly, then +health items are only going to become more important.

+weapon dmg is near worthless compared to health stacking, but +weapon speed can very quickly negate the health advantage of someone who doesn't have the same weapon speed.

weapon dmg is alright when combined with weapon speed, but weapon speed and health are definitely the most effective combo. If you can grab something with a crit chance, it's incredible when used with weapon speed.

Generally, Mr. 8000 hp Rook (for example) won't stop a 4000 hp UB with +50% attack speed and a chance to crit (especially if Inner Beast is activated).

...but an 8k hp Erebus will.

I agree with this, weapon speed and crit stacking will completely mitigate any high HP build, especially with a couple of characters (Regulus/UB).

The problem is that weapon speed/crit stacking tend to cost significantly more.  This could be remedied by lowring the cost of some of those items, but in my opinions speed/crit is already too much burst damage (especially at the artifact level.)

Characters with low auto-attack and low attack speed will NEVER kill you if you heavily stack +health and don't play like a retard.

If there is a Sedna/QoT against you, buy +hp items and get the +800hp favor and they will probably get very frustrated. I know I do.
