Hi everyone!

I don't play the game yet, but I am really interested! There is only one thing that bothers me, it is the fact that we can only play humans; I know that we can customize them a lot, but they remain humans; we can't have some "sexy" race that would leave under high gravity, or eat minerals...for instance....
So maybe I am wrong, and I would like to know if there is some place I could find more details concerning the possibilities of customization.

You know, I have always hated playing humans too, and usually avoid it whenever possible, but there are a lot of customization options. There are a fair number (about 8?) political parties, each of which gives different bonuses.

You also get 10 ability points which you can use to beef up anything from your military to your diplomatic skills. It really is pretty flexible. It should also be noted that the fact that you are human is semi-integral to the backstory of the game and how it is all set up.

At any rate, if that is the main thing holding you back, give it a try. This is a great game.
