I have played this game for just a few days and I absolutely love it. But wow!! What an unhelpful, hateful and just plain rude ingame community it has. I played guild wars for over 4 years, lotro for around 6 months, UT3 for about a year now and WC3 dota for about 5 years and they all have there jerks, but never have I dealt with so many so fast. So this is to all you jerks out there that rant and rave like idiot's to new players. Why don't you try giving a little helpful advice or a tip or two? I mean what is wrong with you? ITS A GAME!! You don't need to tell us new players that we suck and kick us from games or tell people that are hosting to kick us. Want this game to grow? Then try using your tiny little brains and figure out that we cant learn if we cant play and we stop even wanting to play because its no fun to play with a bunch of jerks. So in closing I just want to say "GET A GIRLFRIEND, A LIFE, A PILL OR JESUS". I don't care what it takes, Just get that corn cob out your anus and grow up a little. A friendly community go's a long way toward growing a game but a community unfriendly to new players will discourage many people from ever even trying it.

I was having a bad day when I started this thread but I stand by what I said. Being a jerk in a game is just stupid. I believe its the  bully syndrome. You know daddy is beating on you so you go find some helpless nerd to beat up. Except in this case its the helpless nerd getting online and running his mouth to make himself feel as though he has some power in his life. Oh and I am used to jerks, I just felt the need to vent about there utterly useless ranting, complete lack self respect "or any other kind of respect for that matter" and how absolutely stupid they show themselves to be to the other more mature, more intelligent players in the game.

I've actually said that before.  Me as Sedna talking to, obviously, a TB.  Map was cataract, the map defensive TBs own on.

lol true true. I'm guilty of kicking dlers in dota. I just figured if they weren't smart enough to dl from the dota site then dota itself would be way over there heads. I was saving them from the abuse to come.  O:)

You completely missed the point.  And I was being sarcastic.

But thanks for posting the link for those who don't know.

I tried DotA once.  Me, 2 friends, and a PUG filled our team of 4.  My friends were teaching me how to play and the entire time the PUG on my team kept begging the host (one of my friends) to kick me.  If I'm never allowed to learn, then fuck it, ill just move on with my life.  Now I play Demigod, have a clan on Xfire that noobs and veterans alike are allowed to join, i thoerycraft a bit, and teach the noobs in my clan how to play better.  Ok, the whole clan teaches the noobs how to play better as well, but I think you get my point.
