An idea for AI

I just got an epiphany

Hello

 

We all have to deal with people leaving the game, As long as the ranking system won't be operational we will have to deal with Leets crushing Nubs and indeed quitters.

 

What happens when somebody leaves/quits , AI takes control !

i know the guys at GPG are working hard and AI is still a bit challenged, but (and i just realized it)

 

We are missing the point !

Even if AI was as good as an average player or Even a good one, it would not change the fact that the team with the AI is at disadvantage !

Why ?

 

Cause the AI doesn't COMMUNICATE ! to win you need teamplay,

you need to be able to say "push left side" and everybody comes.

 

In many games you are given a team/squad/etc... (composed of AI and You) and you can Issue orders,

why not demigod ? i Guess it is feasable to catch the key words like PUSH DEF RUN HELP and so on ... and give the AI of demigod a bit of teamplay.

 

It could even say stuff "i am pushing right side" (or "i am tower diving", "fire in the hole!", "i am tower diving ... again"  O:) ).

I guess at this point everybody got what i am trying to say so i just have to thank you for reading (even more for answering, and more for answering "Yes great idea, here's your beer" :p)

Simpler idea: The AI goes wherever you ping on the minimap with P.

I've got a better idea. Why don't the developers give us all the tools needed to create our own AI? They will never make something like this (although the idea is pretty basic, something that should've been in the game from the start).

If they do that, i guess i m not gonna have anything that could remotely look like a life for a long time ...

Indeed the idea is SUPER basic but i didn't see it anywhere in the forum yet, i thought it could help.

Let's cross our finger, maybe the devs like to play demigod as much as we do.

How about just making it like in warcraft 3 random teams, when a played leaves they give you control of all their units.

 

How awesome would it be to control 2 demigods at one time ?

Im pretty sure that teh game isnt built to handle it but still just think about those perfect nukes, heals and shields :D

its not possible with that gui to take fully controle over 2 dgs (items shops, artefakt item slots?)...

work with p, and pls improve the ai, often they wont go to that ping, also make them not attack towers before lvl 8-10...its clueless so attack tower with lvl1. make them more defensiv, let them move near towers... uff

just 2 cents :)

edit: just won a match on crubible with one AI on my side ^^ seemed that the ai was improved realy :o) the tb hold the line retreating to towers and stuff ^^ xD awsome
