Question about trade goods

This *might* potentially be a stupid question, but I'm going to go ahead and ask anyway. If you trade a trade good to one computer player, is that computer player allowed to turn around and trade it to everyone else, or are you the only source for it? It would suck if you traded your good to one race and then that race got the benefit of spreading it out all over the place.

I have the same question about techs. If you traded for a tech, can you turn around and trade it out to everyone else without having researched it on your own first?

Traded techs may be traded, you need not research it further to do so.
If you receive a trade good in trade, it may *not* be traded by you.
The culture that made it is the only source for it.
