Invalid Username/Password

I was playing a few games with friends and have had the game for a week now.  They all logged off so I thought I would play around with some of the other demigods I haven't touched yet because its difficult for me to get a feel for the demigod in a fast paced online game.  So I squared off with the computer a couple of times and then after a few matches like this when I tried to connect again it gave me "invalid username/password" error.  This has happened before in the past and it was just a matter of waiting a few minutes.  Tonight however it hasn't cleared up.

My question is, is this an issue others have had?  Or this this an issue with the game right now?  I ask that because when we were playing it was extra laggy creating games and there seemed to be a lot of duplicate games others had made.

the servers died saturday night for some reason, and are still down. try again tonight.

Argh, it strikes again!
Usually, this issue comes up if your game hangs or crashes, and you try to log in too soon. But it's been happening for about ten minutes now, consistently..

This issue actually started around midnight 6/6/09.  See over here http://forums.demigodthegame.com/355265. 

Was resolved between 11:30am-12:30am ET on 6/7/09 and did not require deleting any files (game.prefs, etc).

deleting the prefs didnt work for me, and i didnt even drop two seconds ago, i havent played for a few days and still invalid pass, even though i have it set to remeber.  guys fix this, ive played betas with less problems and we should at least be able to login
