Little Billy

little billy ate a mushroom,
chewed it up and swallowed down;
little billy doesn't feel good--
he thinks the mushroom's growing.

little billy's feeling poorly,
doesn't want to go to school;
he stays at home in bed and worries--
he thinks the mushroom's growing.

little billm is quite queasy,
home from school a second day;
studies the encyclopedias--
He's sure the mushrooy's growing.

little billroom lies in bed now,
sweating, coughing, feeling ill;
little billroom's very worried--
he knows the mushy's growing.

little bishroom turns and tosses,
mommy calls the doctor in;
bishroom tells his mom to hurry--
he feels the mully growing.

little bushroom strains and struggles,
waiting for the doc to come;
bushroom screams as he collapses--
the milly keeps on growing.

little mushroom's got all better,
doctor sends him back to school;
little mushroom knows the billy
won't make him feel sick again.
