Change scale on demigod/unit-models!

Is it just me, or are some of the demigods too large? The Rook is suposed to be a walking castle, yet demigods like Oak and the Torch Bearer are almost as tall as his leg (I assume that all demigods except The Rook and the Unclean Beast are of human height). And what about the minotaurs? I imagine them being at least 2 metres tall. If you compare them to the "humanoid" demigods, however, you'll see that they look like very tiny excuses for minotaurs. Maybe I'm being too nitpicky, but I think it's annoying when a game doesn't have proportionaly scaled units (like the first Dawn of War for example).

What I'm proposing is: make all demigods' bodies, except The Rook's, as big as the current Minotaurs', and make the Minotaurs' bodies slightly bigger than they are now. The Unclean Beast should be slighlty bigger than a Minotaur, I think.

And yes... I'm a realismoholic perfectionist!

Yeah the scale is clearly messed with... the "archers" in Rook's shoulder-tower are smaller even than the minos, while Sedna, who is supposed to be perfectly human except for the tons of mana, is about the same size as the tower itself.

They're Demigods. Who says they can't change their size at will?

well if you zoom in everything gets more realistic in size

"I'm a realismoholic perfectionist!" who's playing a game about demigods ascending to the pantheon.... riiiight!?

i get what you're saying but at the end of the day and at risk of repeating my self it's a game and one of it's mechanics is that you can easily see what's a DG and what's a minion.

simple as.

End of mrlarone's quote

and a quote for truth.

besides playing rook would fill up half of your screen, making the game unplayable. If you want realism, step outside.

Rook used to be bigger, but he was scaled down because his size detracted from the gameplay.

uhhh there demigods there supposed to be big duhh if they were as tall as the regular units you might think they were regular units...

What's with all the fixation on size all of a sudden

It's about being fun to play. Scaling might make it more realistic (in this game, yeah right) but it would make it horrible to play.

isn't the arena metaphysical anyhow? What you are seeing are the projections of the DGs. See argument about multiple boots etc.

I actually feel the opposite of the OP. I think that certain Demis like TB, Erebus, and Regulus should be made a bit bigger, because they are often too hard to spot and target in a crowd. I agree with those who said that playability takes precedence over realism.
