Need some questions answered

Why do demigods like rook have minion health and attack bonuses.  Do these apply to his archer tower of light and treb towers?

How does god strength effect rook.

Do weapon attack bonuses effect spell casting.  Like fire ball.

Does armor mitigate all damage or just melee.

I love the Oak concept, but i suck badly when playing him.  The player that inspiried me most with Oak was actually able to solo 3v1 at lvl 12.   He was barely taking any damage at all and was able to finish off all 3 demigods even lvl and remain at nearly full health.   He went on to out lvl everyone by 6 lvls and pretty much single handedly win the game for us.   Wish I knew how he did it.  Ive tried several builds in here but usually end up getting stomped  early on.  Most of it comes from, 1 getting sniped across the map, 2 someone teleporting in and catching me off guardwith 2v1, or 3 just plain getting out damaged even though the person is the same lvl.  Any suggestions would be welcomed.

It just adds base weapon damage to his melee attacks.

No, only auto-attacks.

Any non-ability damage. It will mitigate towers (including Rook's towers), minions, and auto-attacks, but not any ability (Snipe, Fireball, Spit, Bite, Pounce, so on so forth).

Edit: Missed one

You mean those bonuses that show up on items? They are just item bonuses, so while assassins can equip them, they don't get those bonuses, they're extra for Generals. In response to the Rook, its shoulders and spawned towers do not count as minions.

Any minion buffs on an item will do nothing to an assassin demigod.  The bonuses only apply if you buy the item as a general and have minions.

Those increase his stats. Each rank gives the following:

+115 Health
+0.18 Health Regeneration
+2% Attack Speed
+25 Armor
+105 Mana
+0.32 Mana Regeneration
+6 Weapon Damage

Yeah, those "stat" skills are actually unique to each Demigod. They are generally the similar thing across each Demigod type (assassins and generals), just with different numbers. So Assassins basically get all of what JagerJack listed, and Generals tend to get actual minion bonuses in them too.

Do you think these are worth taking, seems armor bonuses are much better then wasting them on a skill point.

I don't think most people take the stat upgrades. There are usually enough good skills to sink them in. The stat upgrades are good if you take all of them, but that's a lot of points which are more precious than an item slot.

Ooze UB and AF/AA Reg are the only builds I've seen that touch the Stat up builds.

Pure Frost TB also uses the stat ups. Rook has ALOT of really useful skills and passives so he tends not to get them.

for generals the Morale (minion boost) passives are pretty common choices for minion builds of Oak or Erebus. Sedna and Queen probably not so much.
