What is the -mce switch for?

I decided to just explore around in Sins' app folder, and I noticed that there is a shortcut that launches Sins with the -mce switch.

What does it do?

To  be honest, I am not sure,  since it doesn't affect the game and/or mods it really doesn't matter, why not test it your self, and remove the -mce switch and see what happens to the game. if worse come to worse, just reinstall it and re-update.

I've seen them on other games, as im aware its for Windows MediaCentre Edition, though as i dont use it i'm not quite sure what the purpose of it is, I think it just makes it so that when the game quits it automatically opens the mediacentre interface

i have seen SINS pop up in my media center programs before. so im sure that is what it is.   since i dont run MCE from the desktop but rather from a remote xbox360 it doesnt really do much for me.  but its there which is cool.
