BALANCE and CONTENT

Hello , This is my first post. I bought the game on friday and think this game has real potential to be great if they just fix

some key issue: BALANCE and CONETNT!!  :grin:

 

Regulus the guy with the bow is Uber powerful and the vampire guy well he just sux , slow and all his moves have barely any range...I think the torchbearer and the rook are great start from there and balance :) also this game could be a classic its almost like chess  you could play for ever all they need is to release tons of items , minions , new structures , maps and possibly even demigods to the mix...especially items and scrolls they really tweak strategy.......

 

P.S. I am kinda new so does anyone else think regulus is over powered or am I the only one that gets killed by him over and over again.... 8C

 

also some kinda guild system might make the community stronger....

Right now the balance is actually pretty good.  In the hands of a skilled player any demigod can own any other demigod in kills.  Regulus is quite slow and squishy compared to say a good beast who can wipe him off the floor depending on the build. 

They are working on implementing a clan wars like system so that people could join games as groups and there could be guild like tournaments.  Not sure of the exact specifics but it was mentioned in one of the journals.

The game is very balance once you play more.   New players might think regulus is over power because he can kill you with snipe.   Never let your health go lower than 1000hitpoints or carry the small green potion with you if you are fighting a regulus.  

Vampire guy, Erebus, is powerful but needs more practice.  It's harder to learn Erebus and Queen of thorn but they are not weak at all.

The vampire is one of the best character imo. you should try it a bt more. Youll be suprise how hard he can bite ya.

This. Please read strategies in the guide section for countering Demigods that you're having trouble with before deciding whether a Demigod is overpowered. And make sure you've played for more than 3 days.

Erebus(the "vampire guy") is hardly slow, his base speed is one of the highest in the game(6.3). Combine that with bat swarm and he's easily the most mobile DG in Demigod.

Sure he doesn't have range, but he hardly needs it when he can get in your face with bat swarm, stun you with mass charm, pull off a bite, and have his minions swarming over you at the same time.

Awesome! has far has im concered thats great news....motivates me to play more... :)

Cool! Just remember potion is the greatest thing to counter snipe. But once he has his Mark of the Betrayer mines that make your speed like 3, watch out.
