But maybe you could use Xfire as the official community center for Impulse. It has pretty much every PC gaming feature built into one app. You might already be too far into developing your own though.

I don't think this will happen, but I'd like to see it. Most of the people I play with already use Xfire for Demigod because it functions much better than Impulse.

i don't think impulse will ever be used more iwdely than xfire or steam, onless they come out with an xfire like one where you cant download or stuff, but can show what games you are doing.
