It seems fairly rare to get an actual game on pantheon.

I'm playing for the forces of light, and I find that it's maybe one game out of four that I actually get into the game with a full team of human players and not some AI. I've seen it happen a couple of times to my opponents as well.

Is this a known problem? It's incredibly irritating, obviously having AI allies rather than players is an automatic loss.

Yeah, it's pretty rediculous. One could say that so many AI games happen, because not that many players are participating in Pantheon. However, I would say that many people are simply avoiding Pantheon, since so many AI games happen.

Please... Stardock... or GPG... leave the AI out of Pantheon or at least implement the /noAI switch!

If you AI you can concede and the game won't count.

Hang on. Are you saying that if there arent enough people for the game it puts an AI in instead?

That is madness.

I'd much rather just be told to come back later than get an autoloss because of abominable AI.

The game puts an AI when someone who is matched leaves. For example, Pantheon finds a game for 4 players. One player leaves (cancels) while it's establishing connections, and then he's replaced by AI.

The game does not randomly insert AIs anymore, there was a huge outcry about that in the beginning and they took it out.

If anything, people are avoiding Pantheon because 2v2s on Crucible is starting to wear a bit thin..

Well, but it shouldn't insert AIs when a player drops during the connection setup. It should just restart with the matchmaking process.

Btw. you just have to remember the names of the AIs (Nacer for example). If you see one of them in the connection info, just give up and retry.
