Demigod freezing in the menu, constantly.

So basically, when I click on "internet" to play online, 90% of the time the game freezes and i have to shut it down by CTRL ALT DEL, if i am lucky enough to get past this point, custom game and skirmish are fine, but if i click pantheon, 90% of the time it freezes here instead.

 

Basically i have almost no chance of playing a game, ever, as there's only like 7 australian players so there's rarely custom games up that are playable.

Welcome to my world.

 

Today made me doubt ever playing the game again. so many ******* problems. i mean we started of with 2 games then my mate got the NAT facilitator bug.. he reset router and it was fixed. we played 1 game then the game froze. both reboot on pc.. then we couldnt get on the server as we both hang on the internet button. We tried posting our problems guess what, the forum is SOOO SLOOOOOOOOWWWWWW. finally we got 1 more game off.. after we won the game froze at the button return to main menu. Not to mention how often i still have proxie or nat connections even though i forwarded every tiny bit i can forward GRATZ .. whoever gave green light to this game to see the light is insanely we todd it.

I get this too.

Haven't really touched DG since launch because of all the problems, so I thought I'd give 1.1 a go.

 

  1. Click multiplayer.
  2. Click internet.
  3. 1,5 minutes freeze-up before next screen.
  4. Click Login.
  5. 1,5 minutes freeze-up before next screen.
  6. Click Pantheon.
  7. 1,5 minutes freeze-up before next screen.
  8. :(  Screw this.  Quit.
  9. Give a Pantheon game a go anyway.
  10. Got into a game with an actual human opponent!
  11. Played a full game through with no hangs or other horrible problems.
  12. :)
