Stalemate Help!

3 are left including Altarians and Torians( MY Ally with lots of trade). We are at war with Altarians who are ranked #1 but my is Military about equal. We are both building Excalibers. I kill his attacks with Missles but have not been able to launch an offensive without very heavy loses. Any suggestions?

See if you can host your save game for people to see it, and offer suggestions on that.

I hate to say this, but if the tech victory is not what you're after, your other option is to make yourself even bigger by taking out the Torians, and then bringing your entire force to bear. You should be able to find planets that aren't that heavilly guarded and invade, and work your way from there. If your influence is signficantly greater than this, you'll cause a few flips to take place on subsequent turns. But if that isn't successful, then Staffa is quite right, that's what your tech victory is there for.

By the stage of the game where Excaliburs become available, Tech victory would occurr quite quickly.

Since it's a stalemate, it's probably disabled.
