Your favorite EWOM thread so far?

I apologize, there just haven't been any threads lately that have really been very exciting. I do appreciate the dev journals always of course, but it seems like things have been a bit dead lately. Everyone is just so amped for alpha/beta to start and it seems like we have hashed and rehashed thru all of the available information so far. I realize that once alpha starts that will change as the floodgates of info will be wide open at that point.

  Anyway, my favorite thread so far, by far, was the dev journal entry where they proposed various camps of how they were considering doing the economy. That was exciting stuff and it was awesome to see all the ideas being thrown around, Was that your favorite thread ever, and if not what was? I'd have to agree with you - the economy dev journal discussion was by far the most interesting for me. It stayed alive for so long and it never really started to drag out; and lots of really good ideas came out of it. If I had to choose one thing for Stardock to read on these forums, it would be that thread.

My favorite is the drawe your own mount thread, just because it allows me to use some creativity.   Or maybe ones that are fun to see other people express creativity, such as the make an empire thread.

I suspect I could go down a list of selfish answers, my giving a bunch of threads I feel to which I contributed, such as the contest I threw, or the avatars to which I contributed.

In the end though, I find that I don't really have a favorite.   I mean its a bunch of forum threads.   What is there to love?  If I actually loved something, it would likely be off topic like frogboy's funny picture thread.   but...   I had a point I wanted to make about loving threads, and I've lost it now....

I'm also not fond of picking single favorites or making rank-ordered lists of favorites. That said, I hope to see more threads like Independent Kingdoms, Will there be wild space, Buildings inside the Towns, and Regular units being "promoted" to Heroes (or some constructive new additions to threads like these). To me, subjects like these have as much or more potential to help Elemental stand out as the magic or economic systems.
