Recently unable to play from the same router...

Not sure what has changed...

Greetings,

My friend and I play on the same router as we live together. We have plugged away with demigod through all of the problems and for a while did not have really any issues aside from the unexpected random crash of the game. This was manageable. For whatever reason now we can not really play any games. We can get into the lobby start a game however anytime we are in the same game together we pretty much lag out the game. For whatever reason everyones ping shoots sky high to the two of us and its pretty much unplayable. This is really disheartening as we pretty much play this game as a co-op game with each other.

We have done the port forwarding and tried numerous things posted in different topics. We have a brand new linksys router and both have computers good enough to run the game with ease. We also have a really solid internet connection which we never have issues with. Any help would be appreciated as this is very discouraging.

Assuming your upload bandwidth is sufficient, have you assigned each machine a unique port range via ImpulseReactorOptions in the game's bin folder?

Kyro,

Yes we have done that. Did not change anything. Our upload speed is 775kb/sec... or 95kb/s or something. However, it used to work flawlessly for us, and for some reason now with the new patches it does not seem to be working.

Thanks for the help.

I've actually had this happen a few times. The problem goes away eventually, but it pops up every now and again.

EDIT:

It's nothing new, it's been happening off and on since my roommate got the game.

With latest patch.... friend and I have had this same EXACT problem. It used to work flawlessly before. Anyone have solutions? Because its just the new patche that have screwed us over. Yeah I know Demigod is crap when it comes to connectivity issues but this is gamebreaking.
