Reverting to previous versions

Is there any way to revert to previous versions of the game if we want to check what our score -would- have been? I'm really sad because I got a score of 13000 something on a really good game I played, but it really doesn't mean anything, does it? Not unless I see what it would have been compared to my other scores. If anyone can help with this, I would appreciate it.

Edited to say: BTW, since the game hasn't updated yet, it's a tiny normal game . . . 13000!? We'll see. Maybe there will be a screening in between, but I'd really like to see it on the same scale as my others.

Well, it might be easier if you take the game your
trying to compare it too(if u still have it saved) and
finish it again. This way you will get the older game
on the previous version scored on the current version.

Then you can compare the two on the same version.

If you dont have the previous game saved, reverting
is possible depending on the the version you want to
revert too. If its one with an actual patch that you
still have, just delete the game, reinstall it from the
CD(assuming again that you have a CD), and update with
your patch. If you have no patch, then beg for it from
someone who does have it. If it was a stardock only
dl, then your at the mercy of the Devs and I wouldnt
hold my breath :(

Thanks much, Staffa. I think I'm going to hope for the mercy of the Devs (or the next metaverse overhaul! :) ), and I won't hold my breath.

If you try to load a save game from a later version in an earlier version, bad things will happen, usually in the form of crashes.
