Negative Metaverse Score?

Wow, what happened? Posted a score last night, was around 2300 or so. Today after the recalc it's -1452 (yep, negative). Pretty wild.

Just making the powers that be aware of it as I've seen some other negative scores as well.

How did you pull that off? I gotta congratulate you for that one. All kidding aside, the devs are tweaking the scoring a bit, so chances are your score won't stay negative for too long

Maybe we are going to an equilibruim scoring system
where the average result of all scores is forced to be
0 :)

I have a -1666 score now. It was about +1800 the day before if I remember well.
I suggest we have a contest of "lowest score", "highest absolute value score" and such.
Or maybe Frogboy could find a scoring method that can't produce negative results when you control half the galaxy and have researched Final Frontier.
As long as this exists, the metaverse is going to look like a joke, as all fixes to scores look like they are made for the verbose few who milk their games rather than people who play for fun and stop when the game is won.

No biggy for me really. I just found it funny. I'd much rather have them move ahead on the next patch/expansion beta then worry about these scores. Our saved game data is on the servers so it can all be fixed in due time. No rush as far as I'm concerned.

They should farm out the scoring process to me :)

Ill even do it for free, then everyone can yell at me.
