Rebuilding my first blind

When I first started skinning, I had a lot of ambition and little skill. My first WB was a theme designed to look like the desktop of a CTU agent. It was actually pretty popular despite it's poor construction and lack of esthetique. :\

CTU got pulled from my gallery (by me) early last year.

I have unfortunatly been getting more and more requests for the blind which I have sent to people.

 

I am now working on a total rebuild of this theme and I hope to share it with you in a short time.

 

I'm going for a very specific look hereand trying to make it as authentic as possible. If you say it looks like windows '98 with chopped off corners, then I just might have nailed it ;)

Hey, if you seen the actual theme they are using in CTU NY, you can see how they've changed! Will you, or will you not try to do it? :P

The skin was uploaded to a site that has been since shut down. I'm working on a Win7 version of the skin (maybe xp too) and I'll upload it as soon as it is finished.

I'll have to watch the new season to get caught up on the GUI........but they were using Aero last season :puke:

I get quite a number of requests for the finished version of this skin. I think it's about time to admit to myself that I'm not going to finish it. I just can't get fired up about the skin and doing it half assed is just not what I'm about.

 

My offer: Anyone that wants to take over a half finished skin is welcome to it. All I ask is a small credit in the description. Contact me through this page if you are interested.

There's this guy okay ... he sells brand new used voice boxes. Pretty cheap too. Only an arm ... save the leg for the update. :w00t:
