Impulse problem

Unsure if this belonged here or in 'Personal Computing', so I flipped a coin on it.

 

I recently upgraded my PC, new everything. After installing Windows XP SP3, NET3.5 and IE8 I downloaded Impulse so that I could patch my copy of Demigod. I've just got round to logging in to Impulse and every time I try to load it: it crashes. It doesn't give me any information about the crash other than "Do you want to send an error report to Stardock games?" or something like that and then gives me the option to restart Impulse, which yielded the exact same result =/


I've tried re-installing but it's not working at all. Can anyone give me some advice to fix it or at least explain why it's not working?

I think I found the problem. Apparently Impulse crashes whenever it attempts to open the community tab, I was able to open Impulse through opening Demigod and trying to play online and it took me directly to the Games tab which worked fine.
