MyColors Gloss Pack Free for Object Desktop Subscribers

One of the all-time best skins.....thanks Stardock.

Great if you use MyColors. No so great if you don't.

Ok guys what gives, after waiting a few days from getting the email i still do not see these in the "My Software" tab in Impulse.

Thoughts?

Neilo click on the Impulse Icon in the upper right hand corner and make sure that 'Show freeware and demos' is selected.  At first I didn't see the Themes but they were therre under the My Software tab.  I sort my apps by name and then installed so the Themes show at the end of the list of installed apps.

If you didn't have the show freeware selected you may have to restart Impulse.  If the Themes still don't show up go into Preferences by hitting the Impulse Icon and then select 'reset data'.  Hopefully they will show up then.

I downloaded mine as .suites then changed the extension to .zip and copied the folders to their appropriate locations....no Mycolors involved at all.

I have found that most of times the fix for the porblem usually is something simple.  Glad I was able to help.

I purchased object desktop ultimate with the impression I would receive the gloss pack as advertized above. I have done the data reset and the themes are still not being shown.. What gives Stardock?? Made the purchase, spent the money, so where are the free gloss pack themes

Now for the bad news jimehc, the MyColors Gloss Pack were free for the people that had current Object Desktop subscriptions when the skins were released. 

If you purchased a subscription after that date you don't get the that Gloss Pack Theme but you will get whatever comes out for subscribers during your current subxription period (one year).  The freebies are from the start of your subscription forward, not backwords. 

There will be more freebies coming out in the next 12 months.
