Brief Background: Has magical ability which he imbues into his creations/compounds. His compounds enhance ally effectiveness and some are created as a lethal source to bring down enemies.


*Compounds can be placed on the floor for allies to pick at will or can be directly cast onto an ally. But there r side effects during the duration of the benefit (2 of the same side effect dont stack).

Skills

Vile Compound
Cast time: 2 secs
Cooldown: 12 secs
Range: TB's firball
Mana cost: High

Throws a hazardess compound. Upon hitting target area, this compound explodes dealing 400/500/600/700 dmg (dmg radius TB's fire nova). Those that are hit receive 20/30/40/50 dmg each second for 5 secs.

(lvl 15)Enchance Symptoms

Enemies effected now suffer from 600 mana degen over 5 secs

Zephyr Compound
Cast time: 2 secs
Cooldown: 15 secs
Range: UB's spit
Mana cost: Medium - high

For 10 secs, Grants 10%/15%/20%/25% movement and attack speed. Side Effect - Exhaustion. You lose 10/20/30/40 mana and lose 20/30/40/50 health each second.

Holy Compound
Cast time: 2 secs
Cooldown: 10 secs
Range: UB's spit
Mana cost: medium

You are healed for 400/600/800/1000 health. For 6 secs you recieve 10%/20%/30%/40% less dmg. Side Effect - You move 5%/10%/15%/20% slower for 6 secs.

Advanced research (reqs lvl 4 of both zephyr and holy combound)

There r now no side effects for either skill, and now cost less mana to use.

Compound of absorption (only effects user)
Cast time: 2 secs
Cooldown: 20 secs
Mana cost: medium

For 5/6/7 secs, 50% of the dmg u recieve is absorbed. Nearby allies (TB's circle or fire) recieve 50%/75%/100% health for how much dmg that was absorbed during the duration of this skill. Side effect - drains a % of users max mana each sec.

Focus (Passive)

Allows the alchemist to prepare his compounds .25/.5/.75 secs quicker than normal.

Imbue Energy (Passive)

Imbues magical power into his auto attacks. Your auto attacks now leech dmg to 1/2/3 additional enemies. Range of leech is very similar to qots bud AA.

Capture souls (Passive)

When nearby enemies die, theres a 5%/10%/15% chance of gaining 5% of your max energy.

Additional skill idea

Revitalise Soul (in place of compound of absorption)
Cast time: 1 sec
Recharge: 20 secs
Range: Fairly short
Mana: Medium - high

If target ally dies within 6 secs, that ally resurrects 20%/30%/40% faster. After these 6 seconds, if ally is not dead, they r healed for 800 health. *There has been complaints about the death penalty upgrade that the citadel provides is useless, but in conjuction with this skill, there may be some use in that upgrade. eg. if it takes 30 secs to res this skill will reduce it by 9 secs at max level, now even if u get 1st level upgrade from citadel which is 10% less death time, ud be dropping death time by 12 secs which is a significant amount during late game.*

Hehe...zephyr + holy + advanced research = total pwnage. I finally get to see a DG that both helps and damages ally DGs. Would add very interesting tactics. You would need to know when to heal because sometimes you need your speed more than your health. If you are being chased by an erebus and ooze UB the last thing you want is for some noob Alchemist player to cast holy compound on you. The exact opposite goes if you are about to get snipe spammed.

Revitalise soul is risky. On one hand if you have good allies that got ganked, you would want to invest points in this skill. However if those allies are feeders and you've already invested in that skill you basically just wasted 3 skill points. You really need to know who you are playing with in order to not waste points.

Btw, make that timer reduction a bit more, like 30%/40%/50% (or maybe a bit less if it seems op) so it would make it more worthwhile ( if you are on the feeder team, the least you can do is cast it on yourself ).

The best part of this idea are the abilities are really really good but since the cooldowns are so large it doesn't make them OP. He's more of a nuke and auto attack OR damage support with buffs. Very versitile. His auto attack is going to need to be quit large as a base as he levels because of his high cooldowns. His damage just isn't sustainable.

I also recommend that if his compounds are dual usage for each. Each one has a positive effect and each on has a negative effect and depending on if it's ally or enemy target then it choses. The damage one could be absorbtion for allies and damage to enemies. The heal one could be HoT to allies DoT with debuff to enemies. Holy even could become dual usage with a nice long 10 second or more buff to allies with no other effects with long debuff to enemies around 8 seconds or so.

I think he was trying to say that a skill could be cast on both ally and enemy, but affect the ally pozitively and the enemy negatively. Like the Mana Overflow from Zan Dur. Increased mana regen for allies and life drain for enemies.

ohh ... ok i get it now. but i think that would make things a lil too complicated. but then again, maybe not. I was thinking that ONLY allies r able to pick compounds (enemies dont see it or just unable to pick it up).

might add the following description if you think its a good idea ... "Zephyr and Holy compound - You can only place 1 compound of each on the map at a time at lvls 1 and 2. At level 3, you r able to place up to 2 compounds of each type on the map."

nice idea gkrit. It is very intersesting and focussed and he is not op. I like his alll around skill set and his focus. His focus is being versatile, so u can counter and efffect the battlefeild in many ways other than the strategies ur char is required to focus on to be successful. U know me and if u need a backstory or appearance even i got u covered :)

Naw im a master at comin up with stories:) Anyways here is my funky story, enjoy(hopefully)

Greydon was an oddity within community 11. He was abnormal and did not follow rules correctly. They could not leave him to die outside of the community where the monsters lurked because he was not cruel and he was extremely intelegent. He could figure out math problems before they were writen and he came up correct and vivid sentences in english. In social studies he was brilliant and could think in perspective of all the great leaders they were taught about. But he disliked these subjects for they contained no challenge and did not hold his interest. Science on the other hand, oh he was obsessed. He went over the top on everything, whenever a worthy challenge presented itself (which happened often) he would imediatley jump to it and begin to solve it. The day they began to work on alchemy was the day he knew what he was doing his entire life. He created amazing potions. From that day on he worked his hardest on alchemy and even after school when he was the communities alchemist, he worked non-stop. One day he had a dream, a dream that made him wake up in a cold sweat. But it was not a dream at all. His community was under assault!

 He jumped up and ran outside. Fire licked at every building and blood seemed to free-flow in the streets. Burning bodies hung limply from all sorts of objects. Confused and scared people ran back and forth, sometimes cradeling a deep gash or burn marks. The monsters were in control of the attack, but he had no defenses. A staff weilding "monster" shot a blue bolt of energy at Greydon, which blasted him directly in the chest. When he woke up his old community lay in ruins. He gathered what he could and left.

 But the incident had not left him weak, it had in fact changed his life in a good way. He had built his own home in the death woods and grew his own alchemy ingrediants, but he had somethign nobody else did. Magic in his potions. The monsters soon found his home and attacked. The next week a young boy walked by the old house. The ground was littered with blood and raider bodies. He walked over to the house and oppened the door and peeked inside. "Hello?" An elederly man turned and gave out a happy smile "Oh hello! Dont mind the bodies young one! And oh wipe off blood on your way in!"

So anyways i hope u liked the funny ending :) tell me what u think and i got one good idea for an ability that has to do with his past: Monster Blood, temporarily target gains 25% more atk speed and damage with massive splash for 60 seconds, when this duration ends, the alchemist gains all exp and the target takes 600 damage.(The target is uncontrolable for the first ten seconds, and cant take potions, use abilites which means all auras are inactive and cant use items for the entire duration)

Anyways the skill was kinda random and the abilities can be ajusted but i thought it was a good idea:)

i like the story. and the concept behind ur skill is a nice one. but im gonna change it a lil ... and tell me wat u think.

Siphon Blood
1.0 sec cast
Recharge: 45 secs
Range: penitence

For 25/30/35/40 secs, whenever target enemy gains exp, you gain 50%/60%/70%/80% of the exp gained by target. (target receives full exp from its kills).
You also steal 5/10/15/20 health regen from target. (target goes into health degen if they dont have enough health regen to counter its effect).
