Lan unaccessible by second copy.

My friend and I are using the same copy to play demigod. It was purchased awhile ago, and we both have played it with no problems. However, when  we were looking at starting a LAN game, he didn't have the option to choose LAN. Like it didn't even appear as an option for him. What's the issue? Any help is appreciated.

The game does not have lan in it when you first install it.  I did not have the lan option untill I logged in online and downloaded the patch.  After doing that it has worked fine.  You just have to log in on a licensed account and download the patch for the lan option to be availible.  It appears under multiplayer once you do.

Yes he should log on to Impulse with your account and update it, but I doubt 'sharing' a copy like this is legal.

Stardock has a nice policy regarding LAN parties.  This thread talks about it a lil'
