This is a pantheon game.
I'm sure it's noticeable what is off.  The Torchbearer is fighting for the forces of light, something he doesn't do every day.  That Torchbearer is me so I actually know how it happened.  The new epoch started and I joined it today, choosing the forces of light.  The character I was playing as defaulted to the Torchbearer, so I played a game.  Then afterwords when I went to the character select screen the torchbearer was grayed out, and I could not select him.  I'm not sure why this has happened, but it did seem like the kind of thing that raises question.  Last Pantheon I played dark and couldn't play light, so I'm assuming it's the same.  Why does the default character for me start as an evil guy after taking the forces of light?

Going to my page in the Pantheon, it also displays a picture of the Torchbearer for Epoch II, then says Forces of Light underneath.

It's been like that since the game came out.

Needs to be fixed, Obscenitor is running around the Dark side as a very frustrating Rook.  I didn't sign up on the Light side to fight Rooks...

It may be a minor issue, but it does remove the entire difference between Skirmish and Pantheon, besides the online Pantheon stats.  Since I play the game for the sake of large quantities of murder, that's not my greatest interest.  The thing I don't like about this is that it does make the lore a bit strange.  Lore is what helps get in to the theme of a game.  It has a backstory, so it's understandable why stuff happens.

Judging by the Torchbearer's lines, he's all about the murder.  He wants to burn you in to bacon.  He want's to freeze you to death.  The nicest thing he does is let people decide if they want they're victem "Well done" or "A little pink".  When you see the friendly neighbourhood Torchbearer fighting off the evil forces of darkness (Which included a Torchbearer at the time), it makes things seem strange.  Really, the Torchbearer is burned to the bone.  There isn't anything left to burn!

This really needs to be fixed, I hate finding ROOK and REGULUS on the dark side in the Pantheon, it makes for a very unbalanced game.
