Keybindings Problem: Can't Toggle Console

Hi,

Appologies if this has been posted before, but the forum is almost impossible to search with the default Google search at the top right.

I'm trying to get the console to toggle so I can experiment with the AI debug rendering, but it doesn't work.  There's little or no documentation on the subject, but I gather it's the F9 key.  F10 does not work either...

The other controls work normally.

 

What command do I need to bind to show the console?  I believe I can do this manually via the UserKeyMap in game.prefs.

currently there is no in game console available in the vanilla game.  a few of us have unlocked the console through modding the game but this won't be available to you untill 1.2 and modding support.  there is always the chance that the console will be added in 1.2 but haven't hear anythign about it so don't get you hopes up.
