How do I get the Control Panel background image....

How do I get the control panel background image and the shell style pictures to show up on my computer?  I've checked and double checked to make sure the left upper pixel is the same color as the Window background color and it still does not show up.  It doesn't show up on ANY skin that I apply, not even the professional Stardock ones.  Is there a setting I'm suppose to check or something?

Thanks in advance.

Have someone else check the skin, it's probably ur windows install,  Windows can have a bit of a hiccup when it comes to the large shell image for some reason, may want to try a WB reinstall. Same happened with me a while back, a reformat and WB reinstall fixed it.

You're kidding.  I'm not reformatting old gimpy.  I finally got it so it doesn't blue screen on me anymore, and I'm just going to leave it like this until I can buy a new comp, and with any luck that's going to have either Vista or Win7, so this will all be a mute point.  I'll just wait until I'm a little further along on this and find somebody else to check it for me.  I guess it wouldn't hurt to reinstall WB, though.

Thanks vStyler.

Pffft!  I figured it out -- I needed to switch the control panel to "Classic View"   X|
