Can't play single player skirmish

When I try to launch a single player skirmish, the game hangs and instead of a tooltip on the load screen, I see [no text].

Multiplayer is fine.

Suggestions?

If you're getting [no text] on lobby or load screens, try deleting your Game.prefs file from My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod.
