The Technowizards have arrived...join the Human elite.

Generations ago there existed a small faction of Human kind far sighted enough to understand that someday, all Humans must band together as a common race. These people, known as the Freemasons, later evolved into the Human elite through technology, spiritual enlightenment, and the arcane. The Illuminati (Enlightened Ones) represented under 1% of the world's population but would secretly govern Earth until finally, hundreds of years later, contact with alien species would threaten Human existence. Now known as the Technowizards, these shadowy philanthropists have emerged to combine their wisdom. If you believe you are one of us, come forth and join our circle. Together, we will smite any xenomorphic threat and do what must be done to ensure the prosperity of all Human kind.

PontiusBruinPilot,

No hard feelings, I needed to seek my own path.

However, our views are parallel, and I hope our two empires can act as brothers in a war against threats to our kind.

*BUMP*

(My first bump, damn that felt good...)

The GalCiv community is growing. Veteran players grow in wisdom while the newbies increase in numbers. I know there's many of you out there that have yet to join an empire.

Join a distinguished society that has propelled the Human cause for countless eras.

Alien threats can not hide. The All-Seeing Eye is upon them...

You might want to submit a game or two to get your empires score above 0.

Yes, thanks for the great advice... ;p

Seriously though, I've been unable to submit to the metaverse since I bought this game. (I think that problem may be resolved, though) Besides, empires aren't all about scores...they're about ATTITUDE!

I play on a laptop and need to go online when the game ends to submit scores. With previous versions you had to be online to submit a score on your last turn. Actually, the current version seems to act like it's submitting a score when you're not online.

The submission should take a minute and then return a confirmation. You need to have a score for your empire. ;) It looks like even one person could do fairly well on the rankings, at least better than they would rank better than on the top players list.
