UPDATE ERROR, STOPS at 95%

i dont know if this is just a demigod error. when i go to update demigod on my laptop its always the same it gets to about 90-95% then stops then says retrying then it eventually just says error... i work offshore and it doesnt matter what internet connection i have it just always does this crap... does anyone know what it could be or if they have the issue? it doesnt happen to me on my home pc just my laptop. iv tried uninstalling reinstalling iv tried the lot it doesnt seem to make a difference... last time to fix it when i was home i spent like 2 hours just clicking cancel and update and eventually it happened... it never happened until like 2 patches ago...including this onje that im yet to be able to play @.@....

 

p.s can anyone tell me if when i get back home im gonna have to rebuild my favor points up?

Favor is still as it was mate, no rebuild needed.

As for you update issue, i had a very similar thing happen when i went to update the latest patch, except i would stop at 8%.

The it would error and pause.

I kept resetting the Impulse data and nothing eventuated.

I'm not totally sure what in the end fixed my issue, i cycled modem and restarted PC then launched Impulse and started the update again and walked away. When i cam back it was done.

Sorry that i can't offer advice, but if it's the same thing that happened to me, it might just need perseverance.....unfortunatley.

cheers nielo....yeah i found a way around it i gotta cancle and restart the download 50-200 times then it finally works...cheers for these updates cause i do like to know whats happening for when i get home.

Id grab a couple of games with you mate, but i broke my right arm...so no DG for me for a while.....tried left handed, and could only just beat AI.

Odd thing actually..it seems i broke my arm some years ago and never had it treated...im not much for doctors and hospitals...well it never set right and a peice of broken bone has moved.....

So in the cast it goes for 4 weeks in the hope it might heal right thus avoiding the docs breaking my arm and inserting a pin...which sounds like loads of fun......

I still got to go to Bathurst and watch the V8's though! :grin:

oh yeah giggity...when u get a demigod breaking broken arm u discover the real world again lol...but damn bro that sounds harsh ihad a mate that that happend to and he ended up loosing a big chunk of flesh due to some infection thing i didnt fully understand

...at least urs is getting better hopefull fingas crossed bro
