How do I upgrade to 1.05?

. . . and how do I see what version I have? Can someone please give me a link to the upgrade patch page . . . please, I've been looking for some time now. Thanks.

I can see now that my version is 1.04. I've installed Stardock Central so shouldn't my game update (that what I read)? When I click on downloads it only offers 1.04 and the Bonus Pack after I put mu email and serial in. Wheres 1.05. Tried going to Dregnet.com or whatever its called . . . can't see any link to patch the game to 1.05?

Run Stardock Central.
Click the button that says software (kind of tough to spot at first on the upper left).
A list of components will come up. One of these will be the main gal civ.
Click on that line and an update button will appear. Click.

Cotal,
did you really mean to give your serial numbe and attached email number to everyone? I would assume that as of now Stardock will block this serial number from downloading updates for piracy reasons! In furture don't post your serial number!

I suggest you send stardock an email informing them that you've done this and whether they can do anything about it before they see this number being used for pirating.

I guess you misstyped your e-mail when first beeing asked for it.



Then instead of typing it again in the confirmation field, you copy&pasted it an whoops, they got a wrong mail-adress...



Your Serial is right, otherwise one would not be able downloading 1.04 from the download section with it... :notsure:



Conclusion is, that you cannot download Non-Standalones nor compete in the Metaverse.



PS: Posting your serial was kinde stupid thing because of what Solitair said... It might be blocked for downloading standalone patches aswell because everybody can see it now. I suggest you to edit it away before someone from SD notices it.

Edit: I just noticed you already have submitted games to the metaverse, so your fault seems to be only with what you entered in SDC...

Somebody up there loves me! Thanks very very much to whatever angel edited my above indescession (I couldn't since it was over 15 minutes), Cotal is Latin for a Fool ya know . . . My spouse was the one who installed the game for me (as a B-day prezzie . . . suprize!) Anyway I think she entered her details (opps), its all straightened out now. (how embarassing) :notsure:
