Request: Let us see what trade goods we reap benefits from -not the ones we can only trade

A list of all the trade goods we reap benefits from...
not just ones we can trade, would be nice.

for example- if we trade our gravity accelerators for
someone's ultra spices..it would be nice to go somewhere
where it says

Trade Goods Owned
____________________
Gravity Accelerators (our patent..available to trade)
Ultra Spices (obtained from other race-not available to trade)

etc

:)


Also may be a list of what techs we have too

Somehow including a "holder" to a specific item's benefit would be nice too. Good place for a hyperlink. I believe that was how Civ 3 operated.

Would like to avoid this situation if possible. Not everyone will always recall the specific ingame benefits of trading for their own CariElf. True. How to determine a price for someone so intelligent, helpful, and pleasing to the eye, but dammit... how much does she improve my empire's morale?

It might make things a bit slow if you're trading lots of tech, and every time you want to check it, you have to click through to a seperate tech info screen, then back to the trade screen, then click through to the next tech you're not sure about...

How about a little info window like what you get (bonuses and new buildings) when you hold your mouse over an icon in a net browser? e.g. hold it over genetic mapping and you see:

"Research +10,
Tir-Quan Training (Soldiering +25)"

You could have the same sort of popups for trade goods, even basic stats
of ships you're trading for (why is BattleShip 123 worth more than BattleShip 456? get a stats popup from holding the mouse over them (att, def, current hp / max hp, level), and you can find out.)

Exactly- when Im trading techs, I keep backing out of the diplomacy screen which may or may not irritate the AI, to check the value and cost of the requisite tech...
