Hazzard Control WIP

Hello Everbody (in the voice of Apo from Simpsons)

Just wanted some feedback for my OD Package. Got a couple questions I want ansewerd cuz I can't answer them myself. (LoL, I can't think for myself.)

1) How do these look? I'm still new to skinning so I personally think all my work sucks.

Zoomer

Tile

2) What should I inclued in the package? I plan on having a minimum of 1 zoomer, 1 tray, 1 tile, and 1 tabbed dock.

Thank you to all who comment and give feedback.

Look good, my suggestion would be to make the center of the zoomer much darker than that light grey.

Doesn't suck  :sun:

Tip taken into consideration.

If you look very closely, I tried to give the middle of the zoomer a glossy sorta glass look but I can't seem to get it right.

Got any tips. I don't use photoshop though, I use Corel Paint Shop Pro.

Agree with the Master v. It'll make reflections clearer also.

Looks good!

That looks better mate, don't listen to what people say. PS is a vastly superior graphics application.. in the right hands. ;)

It's usually those who don't know what their doing in it that will advise you differently ;) I would advise anyone wanting to get into graphics to at least check out the demo version and the older versions can be picked up very inexpensively on some reseller sites.

By the way, i mistakenly linked you to coreldraw tutorials, you can however find tons of good PSP tutorials with a good google.

Your doing a great job with psp though, keep up the good work. |-)

Very cool idea. I think that you have the hazard pattern down perfectly. The shape is a little simple for my taste, but a lot of times, simple is better! ;)   Good work.

Yea I know V, I just hope one day to be the best I can be. Seeing the skins that you and everyone else makes is just crazy. It gives me alot of, how you say, drive to do what I love.

The link is fine. I own both PSP and DRAW. Corel seems to me a little bit more simple than PS.

Since people generally don't venture to far into the galleries to see what's there I thought I'd share these with you to give you some ideas on what to do with yours. These are about 3 years old and need some updating though. ;) https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=11671&libid=29

Nice self promoting Gizmo. ;)   Nice idea, oh and cool docks by the way. I have already made my docks and I enjoy them. They come from my taste. No offense to you.

I have a :maybe: now. I can't seem to fix the code to get the tabbed part of my docks from overlaping. I've looked like a madman thourgh the readme file that your given with the program and can't find nothing. Any ideas anyone. I'll even show you the code for the dock. I know the default setting is "0" but when I change it nothing happens. This is the first tabbed dock I have done that had this problem.

No offense taken iKashmir! I was just showing you those for you to maybe get more ideas. Those are old docks. Yours just reminded me of these.

Yeah...I just noticed that as well. Wierd thing these apps...some codes work and then for no reason stop working. Add the code below to your docks and adjust them there...should work for you.

*pssst...WG: send me the customary shameless, obsequious plug payment. Same address. ;)

In fact...hands with actual skill/talent can do things in MS Paint that will make MOST PS users cry.

I'll see if I can dig up the link.
