It's Tuesday.

I've been online non-stop since Friday [feels like]...it's 35-something degrees C, my GPU says 63....

I need a beer.

One of the best beers on the planet...final fermentation is in the bottle....sediment and all...

When I drank, I used to home brew Coopers Ale... and Coopers Draught.  Used to buy 6 cans of the Coopers wort at a time... made 360 longnecks (750ml).

Ah, those weren't the days... so glad I quit.  Being 'never drunk' is much preferable to 'never being sober' :-"

Did you hear about the two condoms walking past a gay bar?

One looked at the other and said "Let's go in and get shit faced!"    :D

I don't recall....it has been 8 - 9 years since I was last shit-faced.

Occasionally I'll have a couple of (weak to mild) shandies to be sociable, but nah, being shit-faced is not something I want to revisit. :)

hehe really i get one on on a rare ocasion, i think twice this year so far... once during mardigras, and my celebrating the new home purchase... so when I do take the liberty to embibe in the demon spirits, I try to enjoy my self.. tho this only started recently after a 17 year dry spell. Cheers to your sobriety bro, I commend you for your determination. So a pizza for you instead of beer. :pizza:

I tend to 'control' the drink.....I've had my car written off up the arse by a loser who blew 0.28% ....almost 6 times over the limit.  Didn't do my Trumpie Spitfire a lot of good.

....and that was the SECOND one.

The first Spittie was wiped out the same way...dunno how drunk that guy was....he fled the scene.

After the second one I decided a 'bigger' car was maybe more visible...

...got myself a VF Valiant 2 door hardtop [Chrysler], instead....;)

Oh, yeah...had an eff-wit run into the rear of that one, too.....had to tow him into town....;p

Thanks HG. :)   I only thought I was happy when I was drunk... took being sober to know I wasn't.  I'm much better off for not drinking to get plastered, both socially and financially.

One was via braking...the first two [the spitties] were whilst stationary, the first in traffic....the second waiting to turn right...;p

Hmmm...auto insurance in Oz must be pricey.

Hey Jafo, here's mine from '87-'92.  I loved it until the engine went.

Still comes down to braking!  Stationary means you came to a stop well before the others.

Hehe!!  Standing on the brake with both feet will do it every time. :-"

Hey Ed, I know why your Spittie gave up the ghost early.

Somebody went and put the steering wheel on the wrong side.

Yes, but stationary for a good 30 seconds before I was hit....so hardly anything of my doing...;)

Ed, that looks like a 1500.  Mine were a Spittie 4 Mk 1 and later a Mk2 ...with the Mk 3 engine [1296].
