I Knit Myself A Pipe Holster

I recently purchased a leather pipe holster but the thing turned out to be worse than useless. The strap that is supposed to hold the pipe in the holster comes unsnapped too easily and the pipe falls out. My new Savinelli pipe has a nasty scratch now as a result.

This evening I decided to try and knit myself something that would work better. It's nothing fancy, and doesn't look all that great, but it works.

AS I wasn't too happy with the first attempt at a pipe holster, I whipped up another design last night. I like this one much better.

Ok guy, where are you hiding out?  Hopefully not in a snow drift somewhere!  This weather is for the pitts.  Stay safe out there on these nasty roads.  j

Thanks. I'm sorking on some other designs to see what I can come up with. As for the scratch, I guess one can't expect to keep them in perfect shape forever, unless you simply don't smoke them at all.

yep, it is great to pass time. But while I was in the hospital, I read Bram Stoker's Dracula. That is one cool book, and even though I already knew the story very well it was sitll full of suspense. It is a healthy cure for all that twilight lovy dovy vampire schmooze that is so popular right now - to mix up the two you could knit while watching the 1992 movie with Gary Oldman as Count Dracula but if you were eating chocolates at the same time you would be acting like a girl lol
