Ok I'm looking for a bit of adviceon using Lord Erebus. If you played with or against me before than you probably know one of 2 things: 1. I am a regular qot player, and 2. I am a general style player. With that said can I get some tips on using Le as a general and not an assassin or hybrid?
Look for my "pain in the neck" build in this forum somewhere.
It is a pure LE minion build, but it not so strong anymore with the nerf to horn of battle, the nerf to the turn rate of your critters and the increased cost to wand of speed.
Hybrid LE is a MUCH stronger way to play LE with minions now. (hybrid was still previously stronger, but this build was viable until the latest patch)
Still, it should give you some ideas.
When I play full minion, I don't get Conversion Aura 2 and 3. Instead I max Morals first and only get Conversion Aura 2 and 3 at 15+.
I usually get Amulet of teleportation or Ring of Divine Might. For Minion survivability I stack minion hp boosting gear plus Morale skill.
I put 1 point in Mist and/or Mass Charm if I need it to counter my opponents tactics. Otherwise I use those points to further enhance minions.
I max minion hp and dps so that it takes atleast 2 aoes to wipe out my minions and opposing demigods can not stand in my hoard of minions for very long. Mid to late game this will even work against ooze UB because it takes over 10 seconds for ooze to kill the minion hoard which is more than enough time for the minions to kill UB. Take way less time if you can batswarm in and bite.
The main disadvantage of my build is that it only really kicks in after level 10 and the full gear + idol requirements cost 22k so if you are getting dominated in the early game it won't work.
But I thought night crawlers had the same problem as every other minion with hp items up until conversion aura 2.

Only need Conversion Aura 1 but I have no problem with a similar Oak build. So I don't consider the bug to be a major disadvantage for Oak or Erebus. Queen on the otherhand may have issues and no one in their right mind plays minion Sedna.
The reason I take conversion aura 2 and 3 is because I treat minions as disposable.
Count the creeps in any given lane, then count how many will be converted. If you are kamikazing them every wave, the conversion auras are important to keep a steady stream.
If you aren't sacrificing wave after wave of nightcrawlers, you aren't roleplaying LE correctly. 
My erebus build til lvl 11:
bite IV, bat swarm II, blood I, mass charm I, mist I, conversion aura I, coven I
monks + siege IV idols
faovr: cloack of night
items: stack MANA and only 2 HP items
After lvl 11 either skill Mist or Charm
There are a few builds:
Minion build(was seriously sick before patch, meh now) -> no mist no charm, one bat, a levels in bite, rest minions and if you want morale.
Hybrid build(One size fits all) -> Izuz, although there are some variations.
Assasin build(oldtimers still stick to this classic) Bite charm bat and optionally one minion or mist.
Mist build(totally doesn't work but very fun) Mist mist mist and minions or bite.
And what I call my super superlategame erebus build(no I wont tell you:p).
Then I won't roleplay him like Le, but instead a general commanding an army.
