I KNOW SO STFU!

I KNOW SO STFU!

Recently i played a game where one of my teamates, after about lvl 8 started harassing me for not taking stun(ereb) claiming "if you had stunned him i wouldn't have died" or "that should have been our kill... see how useful stun is!"

Now before you flame me, i do know stun is good and I will take it IF i am playing on voice chat or in a pm cause i know that it will help ganks, pugging you can't count on that, and saving your teamates then causes them to assume you will do it every time and rq when you don't

Instead of taking stun i take bite and minions all the way meaning i can push any other dg out of their lane, but i can't help teamates

Basically: one skill doesn't make a player good or bad and not all builds take the same skill

So if i say i won't get stun STFU

/end rant

Ok. Stun isn't absolutely neccesary for erebus. However if his team doenst have any interrupts it certainly is, because otherwise you lack interrupts. In a full house game you don't have to have an interrupt because OAk and UB allmost surely have them.

try explaining that to 3/4 of the people saying the opposite.

Though not absolutely neccesary.  I would still advice getting charm. You can cut it with minion erebi tho.

If neither player are willing to try and adapt than neither has the right to complain about the wa someone else plays.

This is exactly what I was saying

so his reason is crap and it seems to me that he lacks teamplay skills. now you should get the point... btw. when i look at your stats synnworld then i think that you propably need lessons in teamplay as well."

I've played against synn two times and with once. Both times against synn was on a shitty team so ... yeah. I don't need to go on about how it endedup working out. Third time, when he was with me, his teamplay was fine and he was quick to respond and watch the map.

Synn just enjoys playing the game (as queen no less), not winning, and plays plenty fo stacked games where he is destined to lose. Who the f'k cares, he is having fun.

QFFT. What's the point of a game if you're only playing to win? If you don't have a risk of losing, what the hell is the fun in it?

To this day I still can't get that through some members heads.

my 2 cents.  In a high level game, you probably need stun as an interrupt, reasonably early.  If this was in fact the game in question:

Glist45 Forces of Light Rook 120 Won
richz403 Forces of Light Unclean Beast 120 Won
tytan_elk Forces of Light Lord Erebus 115 Won
wrastler118 Forces of Darkness Unclean Beast 40 Lost
Amalyst Forces of Darkness Demon Assassin 40 Lost
Maccilia Forces of Darkness Lord Erebus 0 Lost *

But just based on my experience, the only player on the other team whose name I recognize is glist45.  Could be he was expecting an easier time of things due to having wrastler... at least for me, I occassionaly try out different builds in games where I believe my team is op.  Anyway, if the team above was any good (apparently they were), they have 3 interrupts that all function as stuns.  That left wrastler to pick up the slack with grasp... which means in 3v3 combat, the glist's team would probably be at a big advatange due to the extra stuns.

That said, I find it annoying when people tell me how to play or how to run my build.  I don't think mac is a lousy player by any stretch, but I'd stick to my regular bite/stun erb build against that team (unless the othe team was choking early game left and right)... plus the other team was team stun (ub/rook/erb) and mac's team had a da.

ereb w/o at least 1 point in stun = fail ereb.

stun is just way too useful to have pug or otherwise. stops those pesky escape teleports and flag locks etc.

You guys are all fail, If he chooses not to get stun that is his decision. Maccilla isn't the worst player by any means. And as for TB, you shouldn't play him if your going fire until they give him attacking while moving. And if your playing fire you should never engage solo or 2v2 since your squishy early game. . . What is the point of crying if your playing one of the most inferior Demi's?

thread > op

That'd didn't make much sense :)

You can't complain if you failed to get stun, regardless of it being painful to your build.  You basically said your build is more important and pushed it on him to get it.

I guess the best thing would have been to just communicate early on.  Easy to say, harder to do, but you gotta start somewhere.
