When I look at the videos of the deskscapes they seem very hugh quality and it states that they are 1900x1200 but when I use it it looks very rough, I have a top end video card and my setting are on max. Am I doing something wrong?

try adjusting the settings in the dreams. Right click on your desktop, and select Configure deskscapes, In the Deskscapes select the dream you want to use. then look for a "backgrounds tab on the lower left. Select it and try the options that list such as Auto detect,  Stretch, etc. you might find one that offers a smoother run.
