Demigod - A Game for Loners

Stardock seriously has to get rid of that stupid player stats button. Hosting a game is just impossible if you have a friend you play with. It seems 80% of the community is obssessed with the stats. They see two people that know each other and freak out and leave. Ive had 3v3's where atleast 15-20 people join check stats and leave. I understand that people think they'll loose but player stats has made loosing unacceptable for stat whores.  As a group of mates who like to play games together were just gonna have to find a new game, which is pretty lame.  Ive never had this issue with other games, CoH, Sup Com, C&C no issues. Justget rid of it, ignorance is bliss.

Or how about you just play against the other premades? Unless of course you're just in it for stomping noobs, not a real challenge.

We have tried !!  If you host a game with premade you get even less people join.  And were pretty rubbish tbh, we normally only play between ourselves but if we have 3 or less people online we try for a team. None of us have over 35 games :S  anyone could see were fairly average at best and yet they see 65% familiarity and boom quit out ...

I'm not a loner.

Just ask my imaginary friends.

Is it not true thou?  What other game has a player familiarity percentage? I expect there is some but none i have ever played.

put premade welcome and plenty of the good puggers out there are willing enough to join...

Get rid of the individual stat yes, but the familiarity stat no. Most premades I have found in game are only in it for the noob stomping. I have every excuse from premades actually denying playing with each other to them trying to call themselves a noob premade when they have a almost a 100% familiarity. To me depending how I feeling really decide if I want to play against a premade or not.  If I am just ready to get a game going then sure what ever, but if I want a more even game; then it is either they split up or get out.

I don't have anything against premades if they're willing to fight each other.

Playing against other premades often doesn't work though :P

This one happened to me the other day...I hosted with a few people I play with quite often.

Another premade comes into the room and their stats were a bit lower than ours.

Pings are all less than 200.

One of them asks, "where are you from?"

I reply, "UK".

Then they both leave without saying anything else XD.
