WinCustomize Version 2

The new site should hopefully be much faster and has some great new features. Click on the edit account feature at top to play around with some of the new customization features. We're still ironing out kinks here and there of course.

On Wednesday we will be opening things up for subscribers. Subscribers will get the new WinCustomize browser (https://www.stardock.com/products/skinbrowser/sb-may02.jpg) which has all sorts of cool features. Subscribers will also get a host of other goodies such as premium skin suites and more over the course of their year.

Special thanks to Alexandrie and T-man who literally worked day and night over the past 2 months to rewrite WinCustomize. Also thanks to Pixtudio who created this cool new default look for the site and a cool WindowBlinds visual style to go with it.

Very nice work guys. You should all pat yourselves on the back. The look of the site is very clean, and I like the new features. Keep up the great work.

Did you set your account to be optimized for speed instead of display and did you turn off displaying of icons? That can speed things up considerably. As well as having it hide sections you don''t need.

I happen to dislike the font used intensely (sad because it is the default font for Windows). Could you not specify one of the fonts specially designed for legibility on screen (like Verdana).

Love this new look. Being an amatuer woodworker I''m really impressed with the use of wood textures. And it''s so aptly named...why I''ve got one just looking at it!

Very excellent design and I love being able to change themes for the site. I wish the search bar was still there...

Now, I shall go spend some ''alone'' time with myself, and think of this sexy sexy site.

It seems that WinXP skins is no longer listed as a seperate link in the Library section of the new site. Is it safe to assume that XP compatible skins have been merged into the main windowblinds section and are identified with the 4 colored flag labeled WinXP support?
