This week E3 was in full force. E3 is the big trade show for consumer entertainment (we've had a booth there before for instance for our games).

A couple of the big news items was the unveiling of Super Mario Sunshine for the Game Cube along with Warcraft III which is due out this summer.

Well, there goes all of my free time! I''ve had Warcraft pre-ordered for months - won''t be long until I''m camping out by the mailbox

And I will have a GameCube in time for Mario. As well as some of the other ones late this fall like Metroid.

Mario needs to get ditched. It''s like the obligatory flaghsip title. The Cube needs some good quests not mere racing/platform smuck.

Wow, Mario Sunshine... that''s great! I really like the Super Mario 64 on the N64 so I think Mario Sunshine will be great!

Believe it or not, craeonics, some of us old foggies like the flagship titles and Nintendo brands. The number of hours of my life spent playing Mario Kart64 boggles the mind.

MArioKart is fine, Mario -the platform game- got boring right about around SMB3. Though I must say SMW4 was fun, the N64 version on the other hand.. uh uh.

Okay, so that''s only because that cloud level is so bloody hard and I can''t get all my stars that way.

While, yes, its another no-brainer (no Nintendo console is complete without a Zelda game), the new "Legend of Zelda" for the GC is shaping up pretty nicely. It sports a super polished cel-shaded engine, making it look better than most saturday morning cartoons I''ve seen lately (in my opinion)

Evidently, the new boss at Nintendo agrees.
Tom''s Hardware reported that Nintendo announced at E3 "a range of products that covers all game categories." http://www.tomshardware.com/business/02q2/020528/index.html
