Is there a Sins Game soundtrack?

and well, im honestly confused. Can someone in detail, explain if there is an OST, and how i would access it? Theres a sound directory, and i dont have the time to scan through it for music.

 

 

(( Second: "I got the soundtrack with my edition of SoaSE. Its the Game of the Year Edition. And its pretty nice to have the soundtrack aside from the game itself. Now if i want to make a video i can control what music from the game I have in the background"

 

This was a post from the topic i posted a link to, i didn't know there was a video thing like this. Is it only in the GotY version? I bought Entrenchment online and ive never heard of this option.

 

Is there a way to do this without said GotY version? ))

About the soundtrack:

 

I read somewhere, that if you buy them online, you get the OST as well, I bought the retail of SoaSE, but purchased the two expansions online.

Some editions of the game did ship with an official OST (Collectors and GotY I think). However, even if you didn't get it it's pretty easy (I know you said you don't have time) to copy the music files out of the sound folder and convert it to MP3. Pretty much everything that's not labeled Capitalship or weapon for example is music (or over 1 MB in size). I know Entrenchment didn't add any new music, and I don't think Diplomacy did either, so that should be irrelevent.

If you have the game installed, you can find all the game's sound files here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Sound

You'll find all the files there in OGG format.  Windows Media Player doesn't open OGG, so you'll either need to convert them or get another player (VLC works).

okay thanks, if i find the time, ill work on that a bit.

 

What about this video recording thing? Id like a little info that if you have any.(not to trouble you or anything.)
