I agree the pirates should gradually get stronger but they should not get nerf as much as they did. Even a 20k pirate mission is not hard to handle.
I thought game length or number of previous pirate raids was supposed to be a bigger influence on the pirate's strength. How long are you into the game during this 20k raid?
I usually do pirate missions rather then pirate bounty. 20k is in about 40 mins into the game.
Missions strength should be better then raid strength imo.Pirates were no fun before.They should not be stronger than main faction.
Agreed, the problem was in the end game - they hod gotten so strong that I decided to just nuke their planets then bother to engage them
