Armor calculation

Was wondering how armor value scales against damage reduction. Has there been official confirmation that this formula is accurate?

The formula is accurate.

The chart is accurate.

The conclusions drawn from the chart are not exactly correct.

Ah, I was going to perform the armor -> "effective life" conversion, which I see you've already done. Thanks for the link.

(I wish game devs would include this stat instead of throwing out meaningless numbers like +1000 Armor.)
