Teseer, I know you'll probably see this soon so I have a question.

I don't know if my computer can go into safe mode. I know you're supposed to press F8 before the windows start up screen loads, but I have the logitech G15 keyboard and the keyboard doesn't load up until I get to the start up screen... so essentially I'll never be able to press F8 before the screen loads.

Any ideas on what I can do?

You can load up MSConfig and change the setting there.

Hold down the Windows Key and tap 'R'
Type 'MSCONFIG' and hit enter.
Go to the Boot tab.
Check the Safeboot option. You can add networking if you want safemode with networking.

Apply and restart and you'll go into safemode.

Just remember to go back and uncheck the options or you wont stop booting into it.

Ninki can if you can get to the boot menu you can navigate to the safe mode section.

I've fucked some people over with that accidentally.

A lot of infections now-a-days generate fake Stop Errors when you try to go to safemode.

Sometimes you just get sick of people missing the F8 so you just change the setting here.

The comp tries to boot to safemode...Fake Stop Error...Restart...Fake Stop Error...

Oops.

I hate how XP will always give you a damned pop up every time you restart if you change the startup options. The button that says don't show this again didn't work in XP D:

Not sure why it isn't for you. Then again I'm dead convinced that everything inside XP has a random number gen that decides if it works for not.

In fact, change XP to Windows.

I'm running Vista right now, and my sound will randomly stop working every two or three days. I have to restart my computer to get it to play anything through speakers or headphones. My drivers are up to date and everything! It never happens when I run windows 7 though.

I have a g15 and it loads in enough time to get to the boot screen, you just have a fail computer!

Do you have the one with the orange LCD screen?

I always thought it was weird how it did that to me.
