WindowsBlinds 7 prevents Windows 7 Virtual PC from running

I was trying to run the Windows 7 Virtual PC, not Virtual PC 2007 SP1.  I get an error message: 'VMMachineName' could not be started because there is not enough system resources or memory in your computer.  You can shut down other virtual machines or close open applications and try again.

Task ending the wbvista.exe allows the virtual pc to work normally but unloading does not.

I have tried both WB7.01 and WB7.09c

Windows 7 x64 Professional with 5GB of RAM.

By unloading do you mean applying classic or Aero?

If so, what happens if you logout and log back in with WB set to classic / Aero?  Do you still need to kill WBvista?

All my Windows 7 virtual pc's (i.e. Virtual PC 2010 if they had named it sensibly) are working fine with window blinds applied (about 5 of them).

Are you running 64 or 32 bit version of Windows 7?  I am running 64bit with about 3.5GB of free RAM after boot.

All I can say is that if wbvista.exe is running Virtual PC won't.  I even tried running windows blinds with it set to aero and windows classic.

I have to kill the wbvista.exe task.  It can't be in memory for Virtual PC to work.  All of the other executables like VistaSrv.exe and SevenConfig.exe *32 are ok if in memory.  Normally I just reboot to re-enable window blinds.  This is a fairly fresh install of Windows 7.  I'll try and do a  dump of open handles that wbvista.exe has and post them.

I did some more researh on to this problem.

If I load a theme that alters the task bar then Virtual PC will not load.  If I use a theme like Areo Metal or Clay virtual machine will load.  If I load any theme that prevents VM from working I have to change the theme and reboot or task end wbvista.exe before VM will work again.  I have tried 6 different themes that alter the task bar including some from stardock and they all have the same effet on VM.  I'm still not sure exactly which resource VM is talking about.

I have excluded VMWindow.exe and VPC.exe from window blinds but it did not help.
