No.1 Strategy for 3v3 or bigger games (idyllic strategy but possible)

1 requirements: one of your team should be Regulus

as game goes on, probably rank 8 or 9 before giants come

other demigods sell everything and buy items for regulus with AUTO ATTACK BUILD

By that time, all players must have at least 8k gold total (items, idols)

So regulus should have

1. Blood, Anklet, BotS

2. unbreakable boots(basic health) or namoth ring(hp leech with mage and ashkandor)

3. duelist armor 1.5x crit

4. 3300g gloves 2x crit

5. Mage slayer

6. Ashkandor

Well its still ok without ashkandor but regulus must have either mage or ashkandor.

I think most of the people know the build for auto attack regulus

4 angels

6 attributes

3 scope

1 maim

Pros:

It can surprise opponents. They think they will win the game because they can basically ignore Auto attack regulus early and mid game. But suddenly within a minute regulus comes back with 1k beast dps..

If well planned, you have 90% to win

Cons:

If opponents are being smartass... you are likely to lose. If opponents only care about ranks , buy giants, lock the portals, run away with tp without being killed

You and your team shouldn't die much early game

Need good teamplay

Non-regulus teammates will be glass cannon after they sell everything

Please reply if this post is stupid and nonsense(i think this is pretty fun and good strategy)

It's good to have some occasional humor around here to lighten up the mood. ;)

If you used that build you would get to 65% win record for sure.

well just saw the v1.3 and it lightened me up +300%

This strategy could actually work with a tower rook tank. He could have 15k health, epic armor, and damage reduction from bulwark, making him nigh unbeatable. If a tower rook has 8 towers plopped on your portal with giants backing him up, it takes an entire team to flush him out. Just imagine how impossible it would be if he takes almost no damage. Oh and he could use artifact potions with boulder roll to make him 100% invincible.

actually that makes only himself stronger tho. Even he has 16000health , there is no way you can speed him up. opponents will be busy killing other demigod or just keep destroying his tower with AoE.

The only effective tower killing AoE spell is rain of ice. TB players are somewhat rare anyway. Circle of flame fails at killing towers, boulder roll totally stops them, and 8 towers will do a surprising amount of damage while the enemy is stunned. All the AoE skills except RoI require being in the center of the towers, which just prompts a rock to the face. To unseat a fed rook from your portal is exceptionally hard. You need a good AoE character, and you have to come in with all three, split up to avoid boulder roll/slam, and stun the rook while the AoE character tries to kill all the towers. If the Rook's team shows up, even though they are frail from feeding him, they will be able to hold the portal indefinitely. Sedna(or QoT)/Rook/Oak would be great for this turtle strategy. Just hold lanes as long as possible until war rank 10, then bum rush one portal with a bulwark on the rook, and you can finish the game before the other team knows what hits them. The Oak can chain lock the portal if something goes terribly wrong.

Mark of the Betrayer + Mines also works extremely well. The only issue is that both of those abilities have too high a cooldown.

CoF is ... okay at killing towers. If you run in with the creeps, Frost Nova, then CoF you can do alright. Even if he stuns you, if you get a Frost Nova off before he does so, you won't take any damage.

All you have to do is go to the other side of the map. Two people push one portal each, while someone with a Ranged interrupt (Oak is best because he can shield, run to towers and pent) guards the rook. Even if the other players have giants, if they are naked they are going to have a difficult time surviving long enough to get a portal. If the rook does manage to port back, he has a long walk back to your portal.

I doubt that split knows OC exists

I don't understand why you didn't take Mard's hammer. Please explain.

because i think BotS is much better. its just 15damage difference and 5%attack speed doesn't really matter

and mana from BotS can benefit u much more

Chain lightning is not AoE, but yeah, it's pretty good about taking out towers. Creeps will take most of the force of chain lightning if you're holding a portal, so the towers won't get wtfpwned. Also, I'd suggest SoR for this strategy so that the rook can keep on putting up towers.

Nope, I took a break a month or two after he came out.
