Post Mortem

So is Post Mortem fully fixed now? Does it give XP for clearing creep waves? I knew it used to not give XP, but it seems to work ok now... Can anyone else convirm?

Knockback kills do not properly award gold and xp.

What Ptarth and blackhathedgehog are trying to say is:

IT IS STILL BUGGED.

goddamnit. Then why the hell did they fix the plague thing without having it award xp. :/

When they fix it, beasts will be level 20 by war rank three.

Plague doesn't award XP. It never will. The bug is only with Post mortem.

If it did, they could run around the map gaining crazy amounts of experience by infecting all the creep waves.

Plague does award XP and gold. It just doesn't deal very much damage and it deals it over a long period of time.

Well, I didn't really care about Plague. I just want my Post Mortem to award XP and gold correctly. Why the heck would they choose to fix that element and not the XP bug? :/

Well, it only awards gold and xp if they die in the vicinity. Not like, the minotaurs you might have killed across the map.

If you deal the death blow you also get gold and xp. IIRC there is also something about having to have dealt the damage in the last X units of time.

  • When a unit dies, the game checks if the opposing army (Demigods or minions - which include mines, towers, circle of fire, mulch and Heaven's Wrath) have done at least 25% of the total damage dealt to the unit.
  • If yes, all opposing Demigods within a certain range are added to a list.
  • If the unit was killed by a Demigod, that Demigod is also added to the list. (CoF, Mulch, Wrath use this rule)
  • The Gold Bounty value of the unit is divided between all of the Demigods on the list.
